Banana Cake And Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. mashed ripe bananas
2 eggs (1 at a time)
2 level tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. sifted flour

Preparation

Mix sugar, shortening, bananas and eggs (1 at a time) together.
Mix well.
Add soda, salt, nutmeg and flour.
Bake in loaf pans at 350\u00b0 or in layer pans at 375\u00b0.
