Best Ever Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    6 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1/3 c. Wesson or Crisco oil
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a bowl, sift together the first 4 ingredients three times. In a larger mixing bowl, beat the eggs slightly with a fork.
    Stir in milk and oil.
    Add dry ingredients and stir.
    Add vanilla and beat mixture by hand to a smooth batter.
    Do not use electric mixer.
    Drop by 1/4 cupfuls onto hot, ungreased griddle.
    Bake until golden brown and bubbles appear over the surface.
    Turn. Bake until other side is golden brown.
    Serve on heated plates or platter with melted butter or margarine and warm syrup.
    This is trouble to make but is well worth it.
