Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. finely chopped celery
    1/4 c. finely chopped green bell pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    1 1/2 tsp. granulated garlic
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    3 c. water or chicken broth or combination
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Heat oil in skillet and saute rice until golden brown. Add vegetables and seasonings and saute 1 to 2 minutes more. Add water or broth and tomato sauce. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, 3 to 4 minutes longer. Fluff and serve. Yum! Freezes very well in bag.
