German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 medium potatoes
    2 hard-boiled eggs
    8 strips bacon
    1 small onion
    1/2 c. celery
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 to 3/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Cook and dice potatoes.
    Dice eggs.
    Cook and crumble bacon. Chop onion.
    Dice celery.
    Cook celery and onion in 3 tablespoons bacon drippings until tender.
    Add flour, sugar, water, vinegar, salt and pepper to taste.
    Cook and stir until thickened.
    Add sauce to potato mixture.
    Serve warm.
