Rum Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1-6 oz. pkg. (1 cup) semi sweet chocolate pieces or chips
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. rum
    3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
    1 c. ground walnuts
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In saucepan, melt chocolate over low heat. Remove from heat, stir in sugar, rum, syrup and salt. Fold in wafers and nuts. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheet and chill. Store in airtight container.
