Light Batter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cornstarch
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. water
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    hot oil for deep frying
    vegetables of your choice (zucchini sticks, onion rings, dandelion heads)
Preparation
    Mix together water and egg.
    Mix together dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients into water/egg mixture; beat with fork until smooth.
    Dip vegetables into batter and deep fry at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 until lightly browned.
