Smoked Sausage & Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pkg. lite or turkey smoked sausage
1 lb. can sauerkraut (rinsed)
1 Tbsp. oil
1 sm. onion thinly sliced
1 med. apple, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp dill seed
1 Tbsp. sugar or sweetner (optional)
1/2 c. water
1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation

Simmer sausage in small amount of water to remove some more fat.
In large skillet saute' onions in oil and add a little water to stir fry.
Add remaining ingredients, except sausage.
Cover and cook slowly for 15 minutes or until apple slices are soft.
