Ingredients

2 c. canned tomatoes
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1/2 to 1 c. dark brown sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. Tabasco
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 loaf Pepperidge Farm very thin bread, crusts removed
Preparation

Heat tomatoes for 5 minutes.
Add butter, sugar and all seasonings.
Mix well.
Butter 2 quart casserole and fill with loosely torn
pieces of bread.
Pour tomato mixture over bread and mix well.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
