Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oleo
1 c. pecans
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Combine sugar, syrup, oleo and salt.
Bring to boil over low heat.
Pour hot mixture slowly over beaten eggs, stirring constantly.
Cool.
Add vanilla and pecans.
Pour into pie shell. Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 375\u00b0 and cook 30 to 50 minutes.
