Black-Eyed Pea Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, sliced
    2 c. celery, chopped
    2 c. green pepper, chopped
    2 c. onions, chopped
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
    1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    2 (16 oz.) cans black-eyed peas
    dash of seasoned salt
    2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute bacon with celery, green pepper and onions.
    Add broth, tomatoes and peas; simmer 30 to 40 minutes.
    (I cook mine longer!) Makes 6 to 8 servings.
    Calories 337, fat 20 g, cholesterol 21 mg, sodium 599 mg.
