Icebox Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. chopped pecans
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. dates
    1 lb. box vanilla wafers
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 qt. chopped walnuts
    2 slices green candied pineapple
    48 large marshmallows
    1 c. white raisins
Preparation
    Roll box of vanilla wafers until fine crumbs.
    Cut up fruit in a large pan.
    Add crumbs and mix well.
    Melt butter and marshmallows in a double boiler.
    Pour over mixture and mix well. Then press in a well-greased pan.
    Let set in refrigerator at least 48 hours before cutting.
