Chicken That Crossed The Road - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large round extra sourdough French bread
1 chicken (in small pieces)
Italian seasonings
1/2 lb. mushrooms
1 small onion
1 (10 oz.) green and black pitted olives
1 c. parsley
1 c. white wine
Preparation

Fry chicken pieces in olive oil, browning with salt, pepper and lots of Italian seasonings.
Remove. Saute the mushrooms, onion, olives and parsley.
Add the white wine.
Turn heat down and cook until thickens slightly.
Pour mixture over chicken and refrigerate overnight for chicken to absorb flavors.
Cut top off and remove bread from loaf.
Stuff with sauce on the bottom, then the chicken.
Top with lid.
Wrap with foil and bake in oven at 300\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 to heat about 1 hour.
