Strawberry Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 eggs, slightly beaten
4 c. fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Preparation

Stir together the first 4 ingredients.
Gently add strawberries.
Place in pie crust.
Stir together remaining 1/2 cup flour and 1/4 cup sugar in a small bowl.
Cut in butter or margarine until mixture is crumbly.
Sprinkle over top of pie. Wrap edges of pie with foil.
Bake at 400\u00b0 in the center of the oven rack for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and bake 25 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
