Aunt Annie'S Relish Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large cucumbers
    4 green peppers
    4 red peppers
    4 large onions
    1 qt. vinegar
    5 c. sugar
    1 heaping tsp. salt
    3 tsp. turmeric
    4 tsp. celery seed
    4 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Grind cukes, peppers and onions.
    Add 1 quart water; boil for 15 minutes.
    Drain.
    Add vinegar, sugar, salt, seed and turmeric. Cook for 30 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal while hot.
