Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Bran Buds
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour hot water over bran and set aside to cool.
    Mix together other ingredients.
    Add cooled bran mix.
    Don't overbeat.
    Bake in muffin cups 15 to 20 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
