Italian Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    1 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. coconut
    2 c. chopped nuts
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 stick butter
    1 box powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Separate eggs and beat egg whites until stiff.
    Cream Crisco and sugar; add egg yolks and beat well.
    Combine flour, soda and salt in separate bowl.
    Alternate, adding flour mixture and buttermilk to sugar and eggs; mix well.
    Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 cups coconut and 1 cup nuts.
    Add eggs whites and mix well.
    Bake in three 8-inch pans at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
