Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium green tomato (per person)
    white cornmeal
    pepper
    salt
    Crisco
Preparation
    Slice tomatoes 1/4 inch thick.
    Season with salt and pepper and coat both sides with cornmeal.
    In large skillet, heat enough Crisco to coat bottom of pan.
    Fry tomatoes until lightly browned on both sides.
