Grandma'S Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. butter
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Scald milk, then add the butter into the milk.
    Beat eggs slightly in a bowl.
    Add milk mixture, sugar, salt and cinnamon.
    Put bread and raisins into a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Pour milk mixture over the bread and raisins.
    Stir gently.
    Place in a pan of hot water in the oven, uncovered.
    Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a knife 1-inch from the edge comes out clean.
    Serves 6.
    Tastes good chilled or warm.
