Italian Cream Cake(Excellent) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 stick oleo
    1/2 c. shortening
    5 eggs, separated
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
    1 c. coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla
    nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and oleo; add sugar.
    Beat and add egg yolks, then buttermilk and dry ingredients alternately.
    Add coconut, vanilla and nuts.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
    Bake in 3 (9-inch) layers at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
