Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. butter, softened
    1 egg
    1/4 c. Grandma's molasses
    additional sugar
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add egg and molasses.
    Mix dry ingredients into creamed mixture. Chill at least 1 hour.
    Form into balls and roll in additional sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    These should be soft to the touch.
