Watergate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) box instant pistachio pudding
    1 box white cake mix (any brand)
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. walnuts
    1 c. ginger ale or lemon-lime soda
    3 eggs
    1 large container Cool Whip (for icing)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together, except Cool Whip.
    Put in Bundt pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Top with Cool Whip after cake has cooled.
    Decorate with cherries for a festive Christmas cake.
