Baked Chicken Sandwich - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chicken, first cooked and picked from bones
    1 can Franco-American chicken gravy
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 c. sliced water chestnuts
Preparation
    Mix all together.
    Spread mix on 8 slices of bread and cover with 8 slices.
    Wrap individual sandwiches in foil.
    Freeze.
    When ready to serve, dip sandwich while still frozen in well-beaten egg, then crushed potato chips.
    Place on well-greased cookie sheet. Bake 1 hour or a little more at 300\u00b0.
    Serve with salad and a light dessert.
