Basic White Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. milk
Preparation

In a 4-cup measure, microwave the butter on High for 45 seconds to 1 minute or until melted. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until mixture is smooth. Blend in the milk.
Microwave on High for 3 1/2 to 5 minutes or until mixture thickens and bubbles, stirring well once or twice during cooking time.
