Shanghai Noodles With Spicy Beef Sauce - cooking recipe

3 Tbsp. vegetable or peanut oil
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 1/2 tsp. minced fresh ginger root
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 lb. ground beef (lean)
1/2 c. chicken broth, divided
1/3 c. hoisin sauce
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. dry sherry or beef broth
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
16 oz. vermicelli noodles, cooked and drained
2 Tbsp. toasted sesame oil
1/2 c. sliced green onions
Preparation

Heat skillet.
Add
the
oil,
garlic,\tginger root and pepper flakes.
Saute
5
seconds.
Add onions; stir-fry until onions are transparent.
Crumble in lean ground beef; stir-fry until meat is light brown.
