Banana Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
1/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream the shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add bananas, milk and flavorings; beat well.
Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Stir into mixture.
Pour in 3 greased and floured 8-inch cake pans.
Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cool completely before icing.
