Cornbread (Mexican) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. creamed corn
    1 tsp. grated onion
    1/2 large sweet pepper
    1/2 tsp. grated hot pepper (optional)
    1 c. grated sharp cheese
    3 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together, except cheese.
    Pour half of batter in greased pan.
    Sprinkle cheese over the batter.
    Pour rest of batter over cheese.
    Cook at 375\u00b0 for one hour or until golden brown.
