Kringla - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    6 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 sticks oleo
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and oleo together.
    Beat the eggs well, then add. Mix the flour, baking soda and baking powder together, then alternate with the buttermilk, a little at a time.
    Mix in the vanilla and salt.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Make short ropes and twist as pretzels.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until set, does not brown.
