Surprise Corn Bread Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. honey
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 (15 oz.) pkg. corn bread mix
Preparation
    Combine sugar, honey and butter in a small saucepan, stirring occasionally, over low heat until it boils and sugar is dissolved. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon nuts into each of 12 average-sized corn stick forms.
    Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the hot syrup over the nuts.
    Prepare corn bread mix, according to package directions. Pour into corn stick forms.
    Bake 25 minutes at 450\u00b0 until lightly browned.
    Immediately invert onto serving platter and serve hot.
