Giant Meatball Sub - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/3 c. milk
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1 1/4 lb. bulk Italian sausage
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    2 (26 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce
    1 (1 lb.) loaf unsliced French bread, halved lengthwise
    8 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese
    shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, salt and Italian seasoning. Crumble sausage and beef over mixture; mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until browned.
