Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
    2 potatoes, cubed
    1 tsp. thyme
    1 medium onion
    2 carrots, cubed
    2 tsp. parsley
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Saute beef and onion in 2 tablespoons Wesson oil.
    Add 3 cups water and other ingredients.
    Grate 1 potato into the mixture. This thickens the mixture.
    Cook slowly until thick.
