Easy Sherried Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. stew beef
    2 cans golden mushroom soup
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1 can mushroom bits and pieces
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 c. sherry
    wild rice
Preparation
    Stir all together.
    Put in tightly covered casserole or Dutch oven.
    Bake
    about\t4
    hours
    at
    300\u00b0
    to 325\u00b0.
    Baking longer at low temperature makes it even better.
    Serve on wild rice.
