"Schee" Or Russian Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 heads cabbage, cored and chopped
    2 qt. strained rich beef broth
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped potatoes
    1 bay leaf
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped carrots
    sour cream
    1 tsp. dill weed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. parsley
Preparation
    Heat stock in large kettle.
    Saute onion, carrots and celery in butter and turn into hot stock, adding bay leaf, dill, salt and pepper.
    Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
    Add potatoes and simmer until tender.
