Hawaiian Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (3/4-inch) thick pork chops
    salt and pepper
    4 slices pineapple
    8 medium carrots
    1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Brown chops in hot fat; season.
    Place pineapple on each chop.
    Add carrots.
    Add water; cover and cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
    Makes 4 servings.
