Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. red food coloring
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix food coloring with cocoa; let set. Cream the Crisco, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat hard. Add cocoa mixture and mix well. Alternate adding flour and salt with buttermilk. Add soda and beat. Add vinegar and beat hard. Bake in 2 (9-inch) layer pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
