Old-Fashioned Green Beans And Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 strips bacon, diced
    1 lb. (4 c.) green beans, halved
    1 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. diced potatoes
    3/4 c. sliced green onions
Preparation
    Fry bacon until golden.
    Stir in beans, onion and water. Simmer 1 minute.
    Stir well.
    Add potatoes and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
