Meringue Teasers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    2/3 c. sugar
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    1 c. crushed nuts
    1/2 to 1 tsp. vanilla
    food coloring (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Line metal pans with aluminum foil.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add sugar and vanilla. Beat together. Add chips and nuts. Stir by hand.
    If food coloring is used, add now.
    Spoon onto foil by teaspoon.
    Turn off oven.
    Put all pans in and close the door. Do not open door for 6 hours or cookies will fail.
