Creme Fraiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. heavy cream
    5 Tbsp. buttermilk
Preparation
    Shake heavy cream and buttermilk vigorously for one minute in a screw-top jar.
    Let stand at room temperature for five or six hours, until cream is thickened to a thick rich texture between sweet and sour cream.
    Refrigerate.
    Will keep several days.
    A wonderful topping.
