Carrot Cassantro - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pkg. carrots
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. grated onions
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 stick butter
    12 to 14 Ritz crackers
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Peel and slice carrots; add sugar.
    Cover with water and cook until tender.
    In double boiler, melt butter, cheese, onions and Tabasco and cook until creamy.
    Drain carrots; put in baking dish and pour cheese sauce over carrots.
    Cover with crumbled crackers. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until brown.
