Cranberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
    hot water
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. fresh cranberries
    juice and rind of 1 orange
Preparation
    Cut cranberries in half, add 1/4 cup sugar and set aside. Sift flour, soda, salt and 1/4 cup sugar together.
    Add enough water to orange juice to make 1 cup.
    Add grated orange peel, margarine and vanilla.
    Stir into dry ingredients.
    Add nuts and cranberries.
    Spoon into muffin pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
