Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck ripe tomatoes
    6 small onions
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. hot pepper
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook tomatoes and onions together.
    Strain and cool.
    Make paste of flour, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Add slowly to tomato and onion mixture.
    Cook 30 to 45 minutes.
    Put in jar; seal.
    Process in water bath for 20 minutes.
