Aunt Sharon'S Pumpkin Nut Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat shortening until light and fluffy.
Add sugar gradually. Beat in eggs.
Blend together flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Stir into sugar mixture.
Add pumpkin and vanilla; mix well until blended.
Fold in nuts.
Pour into 2 greased 9 x 5 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
