Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow squash, sliced (8 small squash)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cook
    squash
    and
    onion
    until tender, then drain real good. Mash.
    Add salt, pepper, butter, cracker crumbs, sugar, 1/2
    cup cheese, milk and egg.
    Stir until blended.
    Pour into greased casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
