Sweet And Sour Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. minced fresh onion
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 tsp. garlic, minced
    dash of pepper
    2/3 c. Heinz chili sauce
    2/3 c. red currant jelly
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients.
    Form into 40 bite-size meat balls, using a full teaspoon for each.
    Brown meat balls lightly in oil.
    Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
    Drain excess fat.
    Combine chili sauce and jelly.
    Pour over meat balls.
    Heat, stir occasionally until jelly is melted.
    Simmer 10 to 12 minutes until sauce has thickened.
    Baste occasionally.
