Ground Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. lean hamburger
    2 1/4 c. hot water
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. chopped pepper
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 oz. extra thin spaghetti
    2 c. frozen peas and carrots
Preparation
    Brown beef and green pepper in heavy pan. Add 2 cups hot water, milk, soup mix and salt and pepper to taste. Stir to mix. Scatter broken pasta over top. Cover and bring to boil. Boil 2 minutes, stirring twice. Stir in frozen peas and carrots; cover. Reduce heat and simmer 4 minutes or longer, until vegetables and pasta are tender. Add additional 1/4 cup water if needed.
