Orange Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 medium sweet potatoes
4 slices bacon, diced
1/2 c. hot water
3 Tbsp. orange marmalade

Preparation

Cook sweet potatoes until tender.
Peel and cut into halves lengthwise.
Brown bacon lightly.
Add hot water to bacon and drippings.
Add potato halves.
Cover skillet and heat slowly until potatoes are thoroughly hot.
Remove potatoes to a hot dish. Add marmalade to liquid in skillet, heat to boiling and pour over sweet potatoes.
Serves 6.
