Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. brown sugar
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1/2 c. plumped raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients like a dough.
    Take out 3/4 cup for crumb topping.
    Mix in soda; add eggs and buttermilk.
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Don't forget the topping on last.
