Lettie'S Irish Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. beef cubes
    1 soup bone
    2 chopped onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 tsp. salt
    2 qt. tomatoes
    2 c. diced potatoes
    2 c. diced carrots
    4 qt. water
    1 c. diced green pepper
    dash of dill weed
    3 bay leaves
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 small pkg. mixed frozen veggies
    1/4 c. tapioca
    1/3 c. sugar (scant)
Preparation
    Put all
    of
    the ingredients in a large soup kettle and simmer over low
    heat
    for at least 6 hours or all day. Remove soup bone and
    bay
    leaves.
    This should be thick; add more or less water accordingly.
