Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    3 c. flour (plain)
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Blend sugar and butter together.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, to sugar and butter mixture, beating well after each addition.
    Sift flour and soda together, then add to mixture, alternating with sour cream.
    Beat egg whites slightly and add them with vanilla to mixture.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Bake in floured and greased tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing.
