Baked Macaroni And Cheese(Home Economics Class Of 1946) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1/2 lb. grated cheese
    1 c. dried bread crumbs
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook macaroni in boiling water until tender; drain and wash. Make white sauce of flour, margarine, milk and seasoning.
    Add 2/3 of cheese to sauce; stir until melted.
    Pour over macaroni in a greased baking dish.
    Sprinkle remaining cheese and bread crumbs over top.
    Bake for 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
