Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can sliced peaches
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Drain peaches and place in dish.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Cream margarine.
    Add 3/4 cup sugar and dry ingredients, slowly, with milk.
    Pour over peaches.
    Sift 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch; sprinkle over batter.
    Pour 1 cup boiling water over mixture.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
